The 222 Caregiver Lantern Project is a recognition and support campaign created through Mental Magnolia to honor the often unseen work of caregiving.

When someone lights a Lantern, they do two things at once: they publicly recognize a caregiver through the Lantern Grove and send that caregiver a practical Caregiver Brain Dump Package designed to offer a little clarity, support, and breathing room.

Each $22 purchase lights one Lantern in honor of a caregiver and sends one Caregiver Brain Dump Package to the caregiver you choose.

The purchase also includes a $3 donation to the Caregiver Lantern Project’s designated nonprofit recipient.

The Caregiver Brain Dump Package is a practical support resource created for caregivers. It includes guided pages and tools designed to help organize information, track needs, prepare for appointments, sort priorities, and unload some of the mental clutter that caregiving can create.

It is meant to be supportive, not overwhelming. Caregivers can use the whole package or only the pages that are most helpful to them.

The package is designed to give caregivers one place to unload, organize, and keep track of some of the many details competing for their attention.

Its practical tools can help with things like preparing for appointments, tracking medications and observations, organizing care information, sorting priorities, and identifying where help may be needed.

But the package is not only about organizing the care of someone else. Some of its pages intentionally turn the caregiver’s attention back toward themselves: how they are doing, what they are carrying, what they may need, and where support could make a difference.

That matters because caregivers can become so focused on managing everyone and everything around them that their own needs quietly disappear from view. The Caregiver Brain Dump Package is meant to help bring some of those needs back into the picture, too.

It is not another assignment to complete. Caregivers can use what helps, skip what doesn’t, and return to individual pages whenever they need them.

The Printable version is designed for caregivers who prefer to print pages and write by hand.

The Digital version is designed for caregivers who want to use the package on a tablet or other device.

Both versions contain the same core support tools. The difference is simply the format that fits the caregiver best.

The package is delivered by email to the caregiver address provided during checkout. The email includes the package as an attachment along with a secure backup download link in case the attachment cannot be opened or saved.

The secure backup download link is a private, time-limited link included in the delivery email. It is there as a backup option in case the attached file does not open properly or the caregiver needs another way to access their package.

The caregiver’s private information is not publicly displayed automatically. Email addresses and other private order details remain private.

The public Lantern Grove may show the Lantern number and, when a public dedication is submitted and approved, the approved public display information connected to that Lantern.

Your personal information is kept private. Your name, email address, payment information, order details, and other private information are not displayed publicly as part of the Caregiver Lantern Project.

The public Lantern Grove shows the Lantern number and, when you choose to submit one for public display, the approved name, initials, nickname, or dedication you provide.

If you choose not to include a public dedication, your Lantern can still be lit without identifying you publicly.

Buyers have the option to include a short dedication connected to the Lantern they light. If a dedication is intended for public display, it is reviewed before appearing in the Lantern Grove.

The Lantern itself can still be lit even while a dedication is waiting for review. If no public dedication is included, the Lantern can still appear in the Grove without it.

$3 from each completed purchase is designated for the Caregiver Lantern Project’s current nonprofit spotlight recipient.

The current recipient and campaign donation details are always identified on the main Caregiver Lantern Project page.

No. A Caregiver Lantern purchase is not a tax-deductible charitable donation. It is a purchase that includes both a support resource and a designated donation amount within the project.

Because the Caregiver Brain Dump Package is a digital product delivered electronically, completed Caregiver Lantern purchases are generally non-refundable.

If you are charged more than once, receive the wrong package, or experience a delivery or file-access problem that we are unable to resolve, please contact us at lanternsupport@mentalmagnolia.com so we can make it right.

The Caregiver Brain Dump Package is provided for personal use. Recipients are welcome to print or duplicate pages for their own caregiving needs and to share completed pages with members of their care or support team as appropriate.

The blank package itself should not be forwarded, redistributed, resold, uploaded, or shared with others.

No. Neither the caregiver recipient nor the purchaser/buyer is automatically added to a Mental Magnolia marketing or promotional mailing list through a Caregiver Lantern purchase.

The information provided during the order process is used to complete the Caregiver Lantern purchase, deliver the Caregiver Brain Dump Package, provide the related confirmation emails, and offer support if something goes wrong.

Any future option to receive additional Mental Magnolia emails would require a separate choice to opt in.
